Every batch of BOERMOER is crafted from sustainable Prosopis pods. By clearing these invasive trees in the drought-stricken backcountry of the Hantam Karoo, we save precious groundwater. More importantly, this initiative creates vital jobs for locals facing hardships. We roast the pods using our own Prosopis wood to lock in that rich, natural farm-caramel flavor.
